Who We Are

Tabitha Cumi Foundation ‘Tabitha Cumi!’ literarily means Woman Arise! it is an idiom that expresses raising the quality & standard of living of underprivileged women and girls.
Our Vision is to enhance the dignity of women and girls by giving them value for living & empowering them to function effectively in the society. Our mission is to give women & girls a new lease of life by raising their standards of living from adverse circumstances through education, adult literacy, health awareness & service delivery, vocational /Financial training & empowerment, mentorship & Psycho-social support.
In recognition of the fact that God alone is the lifter, the hands in the logo represent the outstretched hands of the Almighty God lifting up a female (The Figure). Our own role of caring, giving and loving are only complementary.

TCF "Help Mama Keep Baby" Project

Since the inception of TCF, several health awareness campaigns have been carried out sensitizing & creating health seeking behaviours amongst rural dwellers. Achieving the MDG goals on INFANT & MATERNAL MORTALITY REDUCTION has been the heartbeat of the foundation; we have put structures in place in our communities to ensure a zero tolerance to maternal & infant morbidity & mortality.TCF through some of her partners has been able to establish several Primary Health Centers in hard to reach areas to “Help Mama Keep Baby.” With the advent of these centers, pregnant women now access ante natal & post-natal care while children receive their immunization when due in these communities.
